The Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) worked with a local artist who used 3D Laser Scanning to model select items that were recovered from the Gowanus Canal. These items were found during construction activities and were recommended for retention under the project’s Draft Cultural Resources Monitoring Plan (revised September 2020). 

The GRT has made these 3D models publicly available for free download. To download a 3D model file, click on a model title below to view the model page on Sketchfab and click “Download 3D Model”. The GRT is not responsible for any modifications to the original images contained in the downloaded files by any third parties.
