During the week of July 25, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued In Situ Stabilization (ISS) south of the Union Street Bridge.

Installation of support brackets and additional supports continued for the permanent submarine cables at the Union Street Bridge. The installation site was inspected by divers.

Sediment removal continued at the Union Street Bridge piers. Sediment and debris were hand excavated with a water jet. Cap timber removal was completed.

Installation of dredging equipment on the excavator continued in preparation for upcoming hase 3 dredging.
