During the week of September 22, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued near 9th Street. Grout was placed. Bearing plates were sealed. Sheet piles were cut to grade. Drain outlets were adjusted. Backfill was graded. Obstructions were removed in preparation for upcoming sheet pile installation.

Bulkhead installation continued near 3rd Street. Tiebacks were installed. Grout was placed.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bush Street. Tiebacks were installed. Grout was placed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation began near Bond Street. Obstructions were removed. Sheet piles were installed.
