During the week of December 1, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued near 9th Street. Drain outlets were installed. Sheet piles were cut to grade. Installed sheets were backfilled. Site restoration continued.

Bulkhead installation continued near 3rd Street. Drain outlets were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bush Street. Tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Underpinning of upland structures began.
