Progress Update, Week of April 13th, 2026

During the week of April 13, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Existing drainage outlets were joined with new bulkheads. Installed sheet piles were backfilled.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bond Street. Tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed.
