During the week of April 27, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed. Existing drain outlets were connected to the new bulkhead.

Bulkhead installation continued near 3rd Street. Installed sheet piles were backfilled.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bond Street. Tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued near 9th Street. A cap plate was installed.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bush Street. Installed sheet piles were backfilled.
