During the week of April 8, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation.

Stone placement continued. Stone was placed at Union Street. Additional stone was placed behind bulkhead walls.

Concrete was placed at the Union Street Bridge embankment slopes. Donut fenders were installed at the Union Street Bridge monopiles.

Monopiles were cut to an appropriate height at the Third Street Bridge.
