Progress Update, Week of August 10th, 2026

During the week of August 10, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Installed sheet piles were cut to final grade.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Installed sheet piles were cut to final grade.

Bulkhead installation continued near 3rd Street. Drain outlets were installed.
