During the week of December 19, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued Phase 3 Dredging near the Union Street Bridge and the Carroll Street Bridge abutments. Dredging also took place north of Union Street near the Flushing Tunnel. Divers were utilized for visual inspections.

Sealant was placed at the newly installed power and control cable conduits at the Union Street Bridge.

Sheet piles were cut to grade at the Degraw Street west bulkhead.

Mobilization continued at the new GRT staging area. Demobilization continued at the current GRT staging area.
