Progress Update, Week of February 17th, 2025

During the week of February 17, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System operations.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 4th Street Turning Basin. Tieback installation continued. Site restoration was performed at completed bulkheads.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Sheet pile installation continued. Sealant was placed.

Bulkhead installation continued near 9th Street. Preparations were made for upcoming tieback installation. Installed sheet piles were backfilled.
