During the week of February 19, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation.

Concrete mattresses were delivered and placed along the bed of the canal to create an armor layer. Mattresses were placed between Union Street and Carroll Street.

Work finished to move a construction barge to between Carroll Street and 3rd Street.

Divers were utilized to assess underwater conditions.
