During the week of January 13, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System operations.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 4th Street Turning Basin. Tieback installation continued. Grout was placed. Quality assurance testing was performed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Tieback installation began. Newly installed sheet piles were backfilled.

Bulkhead installation began near 9th Street. Obstructions were removed. Newly installed sheet piles were backfilled.
