Progress Update, Week of June 29th, 2026

During the week of June 29, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Installed sheet piles were cut to final grade. Drain outlets were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Installed sheet piles were cut to final grade. Tiebacks were installed.
