Progress Update, Week of June 8th, 2026

During the week of June 8, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Installed sheet piles were backfilled. Drain outlets were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bond Street. Formwork was conducted.
