Progress Update, Week of June 9th, 2025

During the week of June 9, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued near 9th Street. Grout was placed. Site restoration was performed at completed sections.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bush Street. Tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Sheet piles were installed.
