Progress Update, Week of March 23rd, 2026

During the week of March 23, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bush Street. Tieback assemblies and tiebacks were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued near 9th Street. Concrete curbwork was performed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Installed sheet piles were backfilled.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed.
