During the week of March 9, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bush Street. Obstructions were removed. Sheet piles were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued near 9th Street. Installed sheets were backfilled.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed. Grout was placed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 7th Street Turning Basin. Installed sheets were backfilled. Preparations were made for upcoming tiebacks installation.
