Progress Update, Week of May 2nd, 2022

During the week of May 2 the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued Phase 2 dredging near the Union Street Bridge. Please note that the Union Street Bridge may be closed between 9am and 2pm on days when dredging is in progress at the bridge. At Degraw Street workers continued cutting drainage holes, installing a filtration system, and restoring the roadway. A partial street closure will remain in place on Degraw Street between Bond Street and the Gowanus Canal while this work is ongoing.
