During the week of May 6, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation.

Supplemental dredging near Douglass St began. Dive inspections were conducted. Sediment was removed and controlled low strength material (CLSM) and structural concrete were placed as part of the capping process.
