During the week of September 1, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued RTA 2 Bulkhead Support System installation operations.

Bulkhead installation continued near 9th Street. Grout was placed. Bulkheads were backfilled. Sheet piles were cut to grade. Drain outlets were installed. Preparations were made for additional upcoming sheet pile and tieback installation.

Bulkhead installation continued near 3rd Street. Tiebacks were installed. Grout was placed. Drain outlets were installed.

Bulkhead installation continued near Bush Street. Tiebacks were installed. Grout was placed.

Bulkhead installation continued at the 6th Street Turning Basin. Tiebacks were installed. Preparations were made for additional upcoming sheet pile and tieback installation.
