Progress Update, Week of May 22nd, 2023

During the week of May 22, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation. Material placement continued north of Union Street.

The cap and ventilation system at the Carroll Street Bridge was completed.

During the week of May 29, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation. Material placement continued north of Union Street.

Progress Update, Week of June 5th, 2023

During the week of June 5, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation. Material placement began between Union Street and Carroll Street.

During the week of June 12, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation. Material was placed between the headwall and Carroll Street.

Progress Update, Week of June 19th, 2023

During the week of June 19, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation. Material was placed between Union Street and Carroll Street. Equipment was mobilized to begin capping south of Carroll Street.
