During the week of July 29, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation. Gravel placement near Douglass Street continued.
The RTA 2 Bulkhead Installation Operation continued. Bulkhead/Structure Monitoring Equipment was installed. Access dredging was conducted near 3rd Street.
Divers were utilized to locate submarine cables at the Third street and Hamilton Ave bridges.

During the week of August 5, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) continued the RTA 1 Capping Operation. Gravel placement near Douglass Street continued.
RTA 2 Access Dredging continued in preparation for upcoming bulkhead installation. Access dredging was performed within Turning Basin 7 (TB7).

During the week of August 12, the Gowanus Remediation Team (GRT) completed the RTA 1 Capping Operation. Supplemental dredging was completed. Monopile fenders were installed. Anchor points were removed. The main channel remediation for RTA 1 is now complete!
RTA 2 Access Dredging continued in preparation for upcoming bulkhead installation. Access dredging was performed within Turning Basin 7 (TB7). Additional bulkhead monitoring equipment was installed.

Bulkhead installation began near 6th Street. Equipment and materials were mobilized to the location. Sheet pile installation began.
Access dredging was performed near 12th Street and near Hamilton Avenue. Additional bulkhead monitoring equipment installation continued.
